Terri was born in Takoma Park, Maryland. She lived in Wheaton, Maryland while growing up with her 7 brothers and sisters. She has been writing songs all her life. Earlier in her career she was part of a local group of musicians in her town writing and performing to raise money for after school programs and funding for her church. She also was instrumental in raising money performing and writing , to help build a youth activity center in the Dakotas, and helped raise money to buy school desks and other supplies for a mission in Nicaragua. She was included on the Shadow Gallery CD: Legacy on which she did some back up vocals. She started recording demo songs she had written with hopes of giving them to other artists. This collection of demos later became the CD: Flower Avenue, which was made in collaboration with Shadow Gallery band member and friend, Gary Wehrkamp. Flower Avenue is also the name of a street in Takoma Park, Maryland, close to where Terri used to live. She is married, has 3 children, and now resides in Elkton, Maryland. |
